Omar Ghrayeb

Omar Ghrayeb is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and engineering. Currently serving as an ABET Program Evaluator since June 2008, Omar Ghrayeb has been a Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Northern Illinois University since August 2001. Throughout the tenure, Omar Ghrayeb has held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies, Provost Fellow, Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, Associate Dean, and Department Chair of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Omar Ghrayeb earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from New Mexico State University between 1996 and 2000 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan, completed in 1992.
