Venu Dasigi is an accomplished academic and accreditation professional with extensive experience in computer science education. As a Commissioner for ABET since 2001, Venu ensures the quality of higher education in Computing through the establishment of accreditation criteria and evaluation of university programs. Venu has held prominent roles at Bowling Green State University, including Professor of Computer Science and Dean of the College of Technology, Architecture, and Applied Engineering, overseeing all academic and administrative aspects of the college. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Kennesaw State University, where Venu chaired the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and at Sacred Heart University, as the founding Director of the Graduate Program in Computer Science. Venu holds advanced degrees in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering from the University of Maryland and Philips International Institute, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Andhra University.
