Sungho Moon

SungHo Moon has extensive work experience in various roles related to product management, business development, and leadership in the precision measurement industry. SungHo is currently the Director of Products at Abicor Binzel. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Marketing and Product Management at FARO Technologies from 2018 to 2020. From 2016 to 2018, SungHo Moon held the position of CSO and VP at CurvSurf USA, where they played a key role in developing and distributing 3D object recognition and measurement software. Before that, they worked at Automated Precision Inc. as the General Manager for the ROW region and also served as the Director of Business Development Operations and Product Management. SungHo Moon started their career at Nikon Metrology as a Business Development Manager and Metrologist, and later moved on to Metris UK as a Business Development Manager. SungHo also gained experience at Arc Second Inc as the Application Support Engineering Manager and later as the Sr. Mechanical Engineer & Metrologist. Prior to all these roles, SungHo Moon worked as a Project Engineer at Automated Precision Inc. Overall, they have a strong background in precision measurement, product management, and business development.

SungHo Moon received a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing from The George Washington University from 1992 to 1994. SungHo then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the same field from the same university, from 1994 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, SungHo also holds certifications in various areas such as Asking Great Sales Questions and Value-Based Pricing from LinkedIn, as well as certifications in Change Management, SME GD&T Level II, and Six Sigma Lean Professional from MST and SME.
