Abilene ISD
Jordan Ziemer, Ph.D. has a strong background in communications and marketing. From 2020 to present, they have been working at Abilene ISD, first as an Associate Director of Communications and then as the Director of Communications. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they served as the Director of Communications & Marketing at La Vernia ISD. Before transitioning into these roles, they held the position of Assistant Professor of Communication at The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2016 to 2018. Jordan began their career in academia as a Doctoral Instructor & Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, where they worked from 2012 to 2016.
Jordan Ziemer, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Communication at Abilene Christian University from 2006 to 2009. They then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from 2010 to 2011, also at Abilene Christian University. Finally, Jordan obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Communication from Texas A&M University between 2012 and 2016.
