Mary Kate Keane is a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience working with children and young adults across various settings. Currently employed at Abilities First, Inc. as a Clinical Fellow, Mary Kate conducts both push-in and pull-out therapy sessions, utilizing child-led, play-based methods to support speech and language goals. Previous roles include serving as a Graduate Clinician at The New Life School and NYC Special Schools - District 75, where Mary Kate treated students with diverse needs, including Autism spectrum disorder and language disorders. A graduate of Hunter College with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, Mary Kate has effectively collaborated with educational professionals, families, and students to ensure comprehensive support and growth in communication skills.

ABILITIES FIRST Enriching the Lives of Children and Adults in Our Communities Founded in 1962, Abilities First is a not-for-profit organization serving the needs of the community, as well as those with developmental disabilities, from pre-school through adulthood. Abilities First has had a long-term commitment of providing a cohesive culture of compassion, empowerment and respect for people with a variety of disabilities through educational, vocational and habilitation services. It presently serves over 1,200 children and adults throughout the Hudson Valley region of New York State.
