Dee Sabol

Dee Sabol is currently the Director at Ability Building Center, Inc. Dee has an extensive and impressive work history, starting with their time as the Director of Events for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb from January 1997 to December 2001. In this role, Dee was responsible for coordinating, producing, and operating all public, sponsor, and team events that occurred during Race Week. Dee was also responsible for securing travel and lodging for teams and sponsors, as well as managing the sponsor program inclusions, promotions, and local services. In addition to these duties, Dee also coordinated Hill press services and acted as press liaison for GM Powered, racing division of General Motors. Finally, Dee developed a community engagement program with local High Schools and Pikes Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

After their time with Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Dee became the Account Operations Manager for Colorado Springs and Beyond from January 1997 to December 2001. In this role, Dee was responsible for overseeing all aspects of client accounts from start to finish. This included developing proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and training new staff members.

In addition to their work in the corporate world, Dee is also the owner/designer of Decorocorp. Dee started Decorocorp in 2001 and has been running it ever since. Decorocorp is an event planning and design company that specializes in creating unique and memorable events.

Dee Sabol pursued a Masters in Nonprofit/Public Administration from Regis University and a BA in Mass Communications/Sociology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Dee also studied Fine and Studio Arts at Colorado College.
