Tiago Bertolote

Tiago Bertolote is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry, currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Implant Systems at ABILITY Neurotech since May 2025. Prior roles include a Mechanical Engineer at the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering from April 2018 to April 2025, and an R&D Mechanical Design Engineer in the dental sector at E.M.S. Electro Medical Systems S.A. from August 2013 to March 2018. Tiago began a journey as an Asia-Pacific traveler in early 2013 after completing a tenure at Allergan as a Senior Product Development Engineer, where contributions included the design, development, and testing of telemetric gastric bands. Education includes a Master's degree in Microengineering focused on Robotics and Autonomous Systems from EPFL, supplemented by a Maturité fédérale in Latin and Ancient Greek from Collège Voltaire.
