Ravi Gopalan

Ravi Gopalan has worked in the field of data and analytics for over 20 years. Ravi began their career at GE Capital in 2000, where they held multiple roles. In 2009, they joined Credit Suisse as Senior Vice President - Head, MI, Data and Analytics, Group Business Support Services. Ravi then moved to the role of Vice President - Head, Centers of Excellence Offshore Deployment Planning Reporting and Analytics, and then Assistant Vice President, Head of IT Performance Management. In 2019, Gopalan joined Omika LLP as Director. Most recently, in 2020, they joined abillion as VP Data and Head of Data Science.

Ravi Gopalan began their educational journey at Adarsha Vidyalaya and MES College, though no degrees were obtained at either institution. Ravi then went on to obtain a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras between 1994 and 1998. Afterwards, they earned a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2000. In 2018 and 2019, they obtained a Nanodegree in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, and Machine Learning from Udacity. In May 2020, they also obtained a Neo4j Certified Professional certification from Neo4j.
