Mark Jones

Mark Jones has extensive work experience in the biomedical industry. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Abingdon Health plc since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as Technical Director at Abingdon Health plc from July 2021 to June 2022, and as Site Lead from April 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining Abingdon Health plc, Mark worked at British Biocell International as the PMO Manager from October 2018 to April 2020.

Mark also held the position of Transfer and Validation Manager at BBI Solutions from October 2011 to April 2020.

Earlier in their career, Mark worked at British Biocell International as Development Manager from January 2011 to October 2011, and as Project Leader from January 2009 to January 2011.

Mark Jones earned a PhD in Chemistry from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, starting in 1996 and completing their degree in 2005.
