Deborah Raney

Deborah Raney is an accomplished author with over twenty-five years of experience in the publishing industry, having written more than forty books and received numerous awards. Raney's writing career began with the novel "A Vow to Cherish," which inspired a film of the same name. Currently, Raney authors works for Kregel Publications, HarperCollins Publishers, Abingdon Press, Guideposts, and Barbour Books. Previous collaborations include Gilead Publishing and Howard Books/Simon & Schuster, among others. Raney served on the advisory board of the American Christian Fiction Writers from 2003 to January 2022. Education includes studies at Kansas State University and Emporia State University.
