Lior Nissim

Lior Nissim has worked at Abintus Bio, Inc. since 2022 as Head of Synthetic Biology. Prior to this, they were a Principal Investigator at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2018. Before that, they were a Research Scientist and Post-Doc at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2011.

Lior Nissim has a diverse educational background. Lior began their studies in 1998 at Tel Aviv University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General. Lior then attended the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they received a Master's Degree in p53 in 2003. In 2009, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Synthetic Biology from the same institution. Following this, they were a Postdoctoral Associate in Synthetic Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science until 2011, when they moved to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they were a Postdoctoral Associate in Synthetic Biology until 2018.
