Shreya Chakrabarti

Shreya Chakrabarti is a seasoned professional in machine learning and data science with extensive experience at Amazon since April 2017, where roles include Manager of Machine Learning Science for Prime and progression through various research scientist positions. Prior to Amazon, Shreya served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University, focusing on data mining and statistical modeling for clinical trial eligibility screening models. Shreya also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Old Dominion University, applying machine learning techniques to intracranial EEG speech representations, while contributing as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in electrical and computer engineering courses. Early research experience includes a summer position at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, utilizing VLSI technology for neuromorphic engineering projects. Shreya holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
