Alexandra Bird

Alexandra Bird has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexandra began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op at Johnson and Johnson in 2006. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op at Impact Technologies. Alexandra then interned as a Formulation Development Intern at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in 2011. In 2012, they joined Abiomed as a Mechanical Engineer on the post market complaints team and material review board. Alexandra later took on the role of Post Market Complaints Lead, overseeing the entire complaint process and driving efficiency. Alexandra then transitioned into product management roles at Abiomed, starting as a Product Manager for vascular access products globally. Alexandra subsequently became a Senior Product Manager for Cardiology product lines, responsible for upstream and downstream activities and mentoring product managers. Alexandra Bird has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2004 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Tufts University and earned a Master of Engineering degree with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering. Alexandra later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, completing their studies from 2017 to 2021.
