Arun Bommeneni

Arun Bommeneni is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in equipment engineering and product development. Since May 2016, Arun has held various roles at Abiomed, currently serving as Manager of Equipment Engineering & Global CAD Services, with a focus on NPI and advanced manufacturing, as well as lifecycle engineering. Prior experience includes a position as a Product Development Engineer at Hospira, where Arun conducted technical reviews for infusion systems and collaborated with engineering teams on new consumable devices. Education includes a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from the University of North Texas, a Master's in Thermal Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from SR Engineering College. Additionally, Arun has served as a teaching assistant and volunteer tutor while contributing to research on elastomers during the academic tenure.
