Christina Wirth

Christina Wirth, CAPM, has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Christina joined Abiomed in 2021 as an NPI Operations Project Lead and also worked as a Sr. NPI Engineer I. Prior to that, they had a significant tenure at Smith & Nephew, where they held positions such as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II - New Product Development and Manufacturing Engineer I. Before that, Christina worked at Denison Pharmaceuticals as an Operations Engineering Co-op, and at AtriCure, Inc. as a Product Development Engineering Co-op. Christina also gained research experience at the University of Cincinnati, working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in both the biology and engineering fields. Additionally, they had co-op roles at AtriCure, Inc. and Integra LifeSciences, where they contributed to product development and manufacturing engineering projects. Christina's experience spans across diverse areas such as new product development, manufacturing engineering, quality control, research, and technical writing.

Christina Wirth, CAPM, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their degree, Christina has obtained certifications in Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in 2022 and Design Controls Requirements from AAMI in 2018.
