Timothy Bachman

Timothy Bachman is currently working as the Lead System Engineer - Critical Care at Abiomed since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer at the University of Pittsburgh from 2006 to 2022. Before that, they worked as an Artificial Heart Biomedical Engineer at UPMC from 2005 to 2020.

Timothy Bachman has an extensive education history in bioengineering and biomedical engineering. Timothy obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, completing this program from 2014 to 2020. Prior to their PhD, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering from the same university, studying from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Timothy Bachman started their academic journey by acquiring a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh, attending from 2000 to 2004.
