Jim Vounassis

Jim Vounassis currently serves as President and CEO at Abipa International since January 2025. Prior to this role, Jim held multiple senior executive positions at Xebec Adsorption Inc, including President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2021 to January 2025, and Chief Operating Officer. At Bombardier Transportation from June 2018 to May 2021, Jim was responsible for all operational elements of an $8 billion global transportation business as Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, Jim led the transformation and procurement organizations at Bombardier from June 2015 to June 2018, and served as Vice President of Global Operations at Pharmascience from January 2013 to June 2015. Earlier experience includes roles at Baker Hughes and Pratt and Whitney in global sourcing and manufacturing. Jim Vounassis earned an M.B.A. from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
