Michael Haag

Michael Haag has extensive work experience in various roles and companies in the technology industry. Michael started their career at IWKA Aktiengesellschaft in 1999, where they worked as an Assistant to the CTO and Head of the "Technical Planning" department until 2004. Michael then joined KUKA Roboter GmbH, where they held multiple positions, including Assistant to the CEO, Executive Vice President of R&D, and Senior Vice President of R&D and Head of the R&D Competence Center. In 2018, Haag moved to KUKA Deutschland GmbH, where they served as Senior Vice President of R&D and Head of System-Architecture until 2019. In the same year, they also worked at Nebbiolo Technologies, Inc as a Member of the Board of Directors. From 2016 to the present, Haag has been actively involved with Huawei Technologies, serving as a Member of the Advisory Committee of the Huawei European Research Institute and the Huawei X Labs Advisory Committee. In 2018, they became a Member of the Advisory Board of MindSphere World e.V. Finally, in 2019, Haag joined ABL GmbH as the CTO.

Michael Haag's education history includes earning a Dipl.-Inform. degree in Informatik from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1990 to 1995. Michael further pursued their education at KIT, where they obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Informatik from 1995 to 1999.
