Carla Villalta has extensive experience in the field of occupational health and safety, disability management, and vocational rehabilitation. Carla has worked with various organizations, including the Canadian Red Cross as a First Aid Trainer, ABL Employment - ABL Careers as the Director of Occupational Wellness Health and Safety, London Life / Great-West Lifeco Inc as a Rehabilitation Specialist, Niagara Casinos as a Senior Disability Management Consultant, Ontario March of Dimes as an Employment Rehabilitation Counsellor, Niagara Training and Adjustment Board as a member of the Board of Directors for Persons with Disabilities, and Vocational Evolution as the President and Owner. Throughout their career, Carla has focused on assisting individuals in returning to work after experiencing disabilities and injuries, utilizing their expertise in case management, workplace accommodation, and vocational rehabilitation.

Carla Villalta obtained a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Psychology with a specialization in Counseling from York University. Carla attended York University from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, Carla completed a degree program in Rehabilitation Services at Seneca Polytechnic from 1992 to 1994.

In 1997, Carla obtained certifications as a Canadian Certified Rehabilitation Consultant from the CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification), as well as a Registered Rehabilitation Professional from the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada.

Carla furthered their education by enrolling in the Family Mediation Law Graduate Program at McMaster University from 2007 to 2008. This program focused on the field of Family Law.

In 1998, Carla received a Rehabilitation Services Certificate from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
