Aftab Kherani

Aftab Kherani is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in medical leadership and strategic management. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director at Ajax Health since April 2019, Aftab also holds the position of Operating Partner at Aisling Capital since September 2008. Aftab is an active board member for multiple organizations, including Ablacon, Inc., Cortica, and previously for TransEnterix, Inc. and Spirox, Inc. With a strong background in surgery, Aftab was the Chief Resident at Duke University Medical Center prior to joining McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager. Aftab holds an MD from Duke University School of Medicine and a dual degree in Biology and Economics from Duke University.
