In these positions, they demonstrated strong leadership skills by overseeing administration for multiple offices, conducting staff evaluations, and coordinating employee enrollment and orientation. In 2014, they joined Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc as Assistant Director of Human Resources before being promoted to Human Resources Director. With their extensive background in human resources and administration, Denise Ford Saxon has consistently contributed to the success of their organizations.

Denise began their educational journey at Davis Business College, where they studied Administrative Assistant and Secretarial Science from an unknown start year to 1989.
