Lillia Betz

Lillia Betz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the music technology industry, currently serving as the Head of AI Research & Development and Head of Max for Live at Ableton since July 2016. Lillia leads a cross-company product development team, focusing on the integration of Ableton Live and Max. Previously, Lillia held roles including Product Owner and Max for Live Content Specialist, overseeing product vision, development strategy, and quality standards for Max for Live content. Lillia began the professional journey as a Technical Support Agent, providing assistance to Live and Push users. Prior experience includes working as a Mixing and Mastering Engineer at AudioCat LLC. Lillia holds a BM in Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music, alongside qualifications in Piano, Composition, and Music Theory from Conservatoire de Paris, as well as an International Baccalaureate from EABJM.
