James Saal is an experienced professional in materials science and engineering, currently serving as the Director of External Research Programs at Citrine Informatics since August 2018. In this role, James manages externally funded research and development initiatives, particularly those supported by the federal government, while applying a computational design background to enhance materials design practices and informatics tools. Previous positions include Manager of Technology and Senior Materials Design Engineer at QuesTek Innovations LLC, where James oversaw all materials and models development activities.
