Zak Knill

Zak Knill is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Ably since September 2023. Prior to this, Zak worked at Unweave as a Platform Engineer in June to August 2023, where a machine learning model hosting and deployment platform was developed. Zak spent seven years at Attest, starting as an Engineer and advancing to Tech Lead and Staff Engineer, overseeing team structures and integrating third-party services to enhance a real-time consumer insights platform. Earlier experience includes a role as a Developer at Multiplay, focusing on an on-demand game server hosting platform, and as an IT Engineer/Developer at GENIAC, creating document generation logic and website wireframes. Zak holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Sussex, attained between 2012 and 2015, and completed education at Oundle School from 2005 to 2012.
