Chris Townsend Fcipd

Chris Townsend FCIPD, MBA has a strong background in human resources and has held various leadership positions throughout their career. Chris is currently working as the Senior Director of Human Resources at ABM UK. Prior to this, they served as the Senior HR Director for UK, Europe, and MENA at ABM Industries, and also took on the role of Interim HR Director. Before joining ABM, Townsend ran their own consulting firm, where they worked as an HR Director providing support and solutions to clients. Chris also served as the HR Director at Renaissance Services, where they played a key role in transforming the business and implementing strategic HR initiatives. Earlier in their career, Townsend worked as an HR Director at Mitie, where they provided HR leadership to a large organization and served as a Trustee Director for the company's pension scheme.

Chris Townsend FCIPD, MBA has a diverse education history. In 1975, they completed their secondary education at Aylesford High School. Chris then attended the University of Wolverhampton from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained a Post Grad Certificate & Diploma in Training Management. In 1996, Chris studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration at City of Swansea College (now Swansea Metropolitan University). Chris continued their education at Henley Management College from 2001 to 2004, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 1999, they pursued another MBA degree at Henley Business School, specializing in Business Administration and Management, which they completed in 2004. Additionally, in December 2016, Chris obtained the certification of "Fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development" from the CIPD institution.
