Thomas Kallstrom

Clinical Advisory Board Member at ABM Respiratory Care

Thomas Kallstrom recently retired from the American Association of Respiratory care after 16 years where he served as CEO and Executive Director. Prior to this he spent several years providing bedside care at University of Minnesota Hospitals, Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital (part of University Hospitals in Cleveland), and Fairview Hospital (part of Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland). During this time he served as Manager (Rainbow Babies and Children’s) and Director of Respiratory Care (Fairview Hospital). He has been primary or contributing author in over 25 published studies in peer reviewed journals aligned with pulmonary care. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Patient Safety Movement. Kallstrom has a bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and an MBA from Regis University.
