Alex Korthals

Alex Korthals is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since May 2005, currently serving as the Head of Coverage for Private Equity, Funds, and Specialty Finance within the Financial Institutions Group. Korthals has held several prominent positions, including Head of Strategy & Business Development and Senior Vice President in Corporate & Investment Banking. Previous experience includes serving as Investment Director at ABN AMRO Private Equity and Corporate Finance Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Korthals has also contributed as an Advisory Committee Member at Bencis Capital Partners from 2011 to December 2021. Educational achievements include an Executive Program in The New CFO from Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with certifications in CFA, CAIA, and Lean Six Sigma, and degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Toronto.
