Bram Kauer

Bram Kauer is an experienced professional at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., serving as Manager of Sustainability Risk since February 2005, leading efforts in ESG-related risk management, policy setting, client engagement, climate risk, and sustainable finance regulations. Kauer has held multiple leadership roles within the bank, including Team Lead for Risk Advisory, focusing on risk identification and scenario development, and Team Lead for Stress Testing, responsible for developing stress testing governance and processes during the financial crisis. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Strategy Consultant in Risk Management, advising on loan portfolio optimization, and managing a branch servicing consumers and small to medium-sized businesses. Kauer began the career as a Marketeer at Achmea, developing customer segmentation strategies.
