Carsten Caelen

Carsten Caelen is an experienced professional in data management and process optimization, currently serving as the Head of the Customer & Party Data Team at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since January 2011. Carsten's extensive background includes roles such as Lead Data Steward for Client Data and Team Lead for Data Management Adoption within the Corporate Data Office, focusing on KYC data management and implementing data governance practices. Prior to ABN AMRO, Carsten held various positions at Fortis Bank Nederland and Fortis, where responsibilities included leading business process management teams and managing significant projects in the Merchant Banking sector. Carsten also has experience from Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and a research internship at Purdue University, complemented by a Master's degree in International Business from Maastricht University. Additional professional development includes certifications in SAFe Product Management and Customer Relationship Management.
