Jurgen Smet has extensive experience in the banking sector, specifically with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since July 1996, where Jurgen has held various roles including Vice President of Business Development in Transaction Banking and Open Banking, as well as positions focused on advising international clients and enhancing transactional capabilities. Prior to their long tenure at ABN AMRO, Jurgen Smet worked as a Programmer and Test Manager at Cap Volmac Brussels from October 1994 to June 1996. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Antwerp and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Electronics from KIHO (now KU Leuven Ghent Technology Campus).
