Erin Edkins Ludert

Erin Edkins Ludert is a staff data scientist at Abnormal Security since September 2019, with prior experience as a data scientist at IFTTT from October 2017 to September 2019. Erin's academic background includes significant research at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, serving as both a postdoctoral researcher and graduate research assistant from August 2010 to October 2017, focusing on direct dark matter experiments and particle interaction studies. Erin has also contributed as a mentor in Project TEAMS, an initiative to support disabled students in STEM fields, and has taught undergraduate physics courses. Previous early career experiences include research fellow positions at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where analysis of infrared data from Jupiter was conducted. Erin holds a PhD and a master's degree in physics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and multiple degrees in physics, mathematics, and liberal arts from Moorpark College and UC Santa Barbara.
