Michael Young

Michael Young is a highly experienced data scientist, currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Robinhood since August 2025. Previously, Michael held the position of Staff Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist II at Carta from May 2022 to August 2025. Earlier in the career, Michael was the Manager of Data and Operations at Onc.AI from January 2021 to January 2022 and worked as a Senior Data Scientist at QuantCo from January 2018 to January 2021. Michael began the professional journey as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School, focusing on Technology and Operations Management from January 2015 to January 2017. Academically, Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technology and Operations Management from Harvard University and another PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
