Steve Sturtevant

Steve Sturtevant has extensive work experience in revenue operations, sales operations, sales enablement, and sales engineering. Steve is currently serving as the Vice President of Revenue Operations and Enablement at Abnormal Security, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Abnormal Security as the Head of Sales Operations and Enablement from April 2021 to May 2022, and as the Head of Sales Enablement from December 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Abnormal Security, Steve held the position of VP of WW Sales Enablement and GTM Performance at Confluent, a streaming platform company, from December 2019 to November 2020.

Steve has also had notable roles at AppDynamics, where they served as the Sr. Director of WW Sales Enablement from August 2018 to December 2019, Director of WW Sales Engineering Enablement from March 2017 to August 2018, Field CTO for the Americas from August 2016 to March 2017, Senior Sales Engineer from May 2015 to August 2016, and Sales Engineer from January 2014 to May 2015.

Additionally, Steve worked at PayPal as an MTS Performance Engineer from August 2012 to January 2014, at OC Systems as a Product Manager from November 2010 to August 2012, at Customs and Border Protection as a Lead Performance Engineer from June 2005 to November 2010, and at General Dynamics AIS as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2001 to June 2005.

From 1997 to 2001, Steve Sturtevant attended James Madison University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer studies.
