Maria Valeria "Val" Timin has a diverse work experience in marketing and community management roles. In 2017, they started their career as an Office Coordinator at Anchor Wave Internet Solutions. Maria Valeria "Val" then became the President of Ad 2 Tucson, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation. In this organization, they also served as the Vice President and was a member of the Board of Directors.

Val also worked as a Digital Marketing Producer & Strategist at Hydrant and as a Community Manager at Common Workspace in 2018. In 2019, they co-founded Cero Tucson, a sustainable lifestyle supplies business focused on reducing waste.
