Joyce Aboussie

Joyce Aboussie is the founder and CEO of Aboussie & Associates, as well as Telephone Contact Inc., located in St. Louis, Missouri.

A strategic consultant and entrepreneur, Joyce Aboussie has consulted on and managed over 500 political campaigns, and has served on the national finance boards of multiple presidential candidates, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris throughout the span of her successful career in the political arena. She spent nearly 30 years at the head of Congressman Dick Gephardt’s political organization, in addition to her role as his National Political Director.

Alongside her accomplishments in campaign management, Joyce Aboussie’s companies have served non-profit and corporate clients across the nation, as well as internationally. Her business acumen has guided Fortune 50 companies, cultural institutions, labor organizations, and high-profile clients in public and regulated industries with business development strategies, market research, branding, and multi-platform communications, among a variety of other services.

Joyce Aboussie has been a member of the National Boards of Directors and Governors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 1983, when she was the youngest person ever elected to it. She was later selected as the first woman Chairperson of the ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Board of Directors and Governors in 2006.
