Daniel Mello Guimaraes

Daniel Mello Guimaraes is an experienced finance and energy professional currently serving as Senior Vice President for North America at Above since May 2024. With a diverse background, Daniel has held multiple roles at Boston Solar since February 2011, including Advisor, CEO & Co-Founder, and Managing Partner. Previously, ownership of Mass Energy Experts was maintained from May 2019 to June 2021. Daniel's earlier career includes a role as Director of Loan Markets at Lloyds Banking Group from August 2000 to December 2011. Academically, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and French from Davidson College, a Master of Science in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the University of Reading, and completed professional continuing education in Energy Finance at HeatSpring in 2016.
