Deidre Dumpson

Deidre Dumpson, MA, is an experienced professional in client success and educational services, currently serving as a Senior Client Success Manager at Edelweiss+ by Above the Treeline since September 2021. Deidre is also a member of the Board of Directors for The Word, A Storytelling Sanctuary since February 2022. Previous roles include Operations Director at WORD Bookstores, Operations Manager/Bookseller at The Dolphin Books, and a 3rd Grade Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools. Deidre has extensive experience in training and outreach, having worked as a Training and Education Coordinator and Street Outreach Worker at the Pride Center of the Capital Region. With strong leadership skills evidenced through roles as Co Facilitator for the WGS Teaching Collective and Director of Gender and Sexuality Concerns for the Student Association, Deidre holds a Master's Degree in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies from the University at Albany, along with a Bachelor's Degree in the same field.
