Michael Rice has had a successful career in the engineering industry. Michael began their work experience in 2007 at Mueller Associates as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they conducted field surveys, completed design calculations, and created Trane Trace models for buildings. In 2011, they joined AboveAir Technologies as the Chief Design Engineer, where they developed wiring diagram standards using AutoCAD, created selection forms, and conducted research on code requirements. More recently, Michael has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Engineering at AboveAir Technologies.
Michael Rice completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2004. Michael continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007.
In terms of additional certifications, Michael earned a Niagara 4 Technical Certification from Tridium in July 2017. Michael became a Professional Engineer certified by the State of Maryland in December 2016. Michael gained expertise in copywriting through the "Copywriting Secrets - How to write copy that sells" course offered by Udemy in February 2016. Michael also completed the "PLC Programming From Scratch" course from Udemy in December 2015 and the "Mastering Modbus RS485 Network Communication" course from Udemy in August 2015.
Furthermore, Michael obtained the EPA 608 - Universal certification in December 2014. Michael'seducational pursuits also included a course in Computer Science 101 offered by Coursera in June 2012.
