Mary O'Mara has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. Mary began their career as an Editorial Assistant at McGraw-Hill in 2006. Mary then worked at Sterling Publishing from 2007 to 2012, where they held the position of Production Editor and was responsible for overseeing the production process and managing the development of interns. In 2012, Mary moved to Penguin Group USA as a Production Editor before joining Sterling Publishing again as a Managing Editor in 2012. Their most recent position is with ABRAMS, where they have been the Director of Managing Editorial since 2016 and is currently serving as the Executive Director of Publishing Operations.
