Ashok (Andy) Shah is a seasoned quality engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Quality Engineer at Abrasive-Form since January 2022, Ashok previously held roles as a Design Quality Engineer at Garyhill from June 2015 to the present and as a Quality Engineer at Omron Automotive Electronics, where responsibilities included customer quality engineering for GM and PPAP submissions. Prior experience includes positions at CTS Corporation, where Ashok managed quality documentation and audits, and at FIC, where duties involved preparing quality documentation and resolving quality issues. Ashok holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, obtained between 1975 and 1981.

Abrasive Form is a Chicago area based company with 40+ years of experience in precision grinding, EDM, and milling. Primarily focused on the industrial gas turbine (IGT) and aerospace markets, Abrasive Form serves some of the leading OEM’s, including General Electric, Siemens, and Rolls-Royce. While our specialties are blades and vanes, we continue to add new technologies to better serve our customers. A recent example would be addition of a fast hole EDM drilling machine to support customer demand for cooling hole technology.
