Evan Tang

Evan Tang is a Quality Engineer II at Edwards Lifesciences, specializing in next-generation manufacturing and inspection equipment for delivery systems and product lines since June 2021, following a role as Quality Engineer I focusing on balloon manufacturing. In parallel, Evan serves as an Infantry Squad Leader in the United States Marine Forces Reserve, overseeing the training and welfare of Marines while holding previous leadership positions as Fire Team Leader and Infantry Rifleman. Prior experience includes monitoring production quality as an MBI Machine Operator at Eagle Rock Supply, developing synthetic peptides as a Research Assistant at Yu Research Group, and collaborating on medical device projects as Assistant Team Lead in BioDesign at the University of Utah. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, completed in 2021.
