Nicholas Diaz is a knowledgeable Jr Engineer at Abrasive-Form and has significant experience as a Technician at Borg Warner Turbo Systems Inc since July 2014. In this role, Nicholas conducts daily audits on Allen Bradley machines to identify and resolve issues, programs and reengineers robot functionality for optimal efficiency, and reduces machine setup time significantly. Additionally, Nicholas trains operators on equipment procedures and safety protocols and has been promoted to Active Team Leader during the absence of the regular team leader. Nicholas holds a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Northern Illinois University.

Abrasive Form is a Chicago area based company with 40+ years of experience in precision grinding, EDM, and milling. Primarily focused on the industrial gas turbine (IGT) and aerospace markets, Abrasive Form serves some of the leading OEM’s, including General Electric, Siemens, and Rolls-Royce. While our specialties are blades and vanes, we continue to add new technologies to better serve our customers. A recent example would be addition of a fast hole EDM drilling machine to support customer demand for cooling hole technology.
