Laurie Mattson

Laurie Mattson has over 20 years of work experience in the education and Ed Tech industry. Laurie began their career in 1992 as a Regional Sales Director for Westcott Communications. In 1999, Mattson worked as a New Car Sales Representative for Patriot Buick GMC of Killeen. In 2002, Mattson became a Business Owner for Slice of Salado. From 2007-2009, Mattson was an Educator for Salado ISD and Regional Sales Manager for KAMICO Instructional Media, Inc. From 2009-2015, Mattson worked as a Principal for Temple ISD. From 2015-2019, Mattson was the Head of Middle School for Gateway College Prep. From 2019-2021, Mattson worked as a Field Account Executive for Renaissance Learning. Most recently, Mattson began a new position as the State Business Development Director at Abre in 2023.

Laurie Mattson holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor of Science - BS in Laurie'story from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
