Pedro Pessanha is a Partner at Abreu Advogados, having joined the firm in March 2022 to enhance the Corporate, Commercial, M&A, and Real Estate practice areas, with a focus on Private Clients & Family Companies, Shopping Centres & Retail Parks, and Energy & Natural Resources in Porto. With extensive legal experience dating back to 1983, Pedro Pessanha previously worked as a lawyer at ACRLEX, specializing in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, and international contracts, advising both foreign and national clients on numerous significant deals. Pedro Pessanha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universidade de Coimbra (1976-1981) and a Postgraduate degree in Introduction to Accounting and Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto (1981-1982).
