Cornel du Preez is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles within the cybersecurity domain. As Co-Founder and Senior Partner at Abricto Security since April 2020, Cornel drives strategic growth, oversees project management, and enhances client security postures while fostering relationships and developing innovative tools. Prior to this, Cornel served as Principal Security Architect at Honeywell, managing teams focused on implementing security best practices. Previous roles include Senior Penetration Testing Engineer at NorthState Technology Solutions, Security Engineer at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Information Security Analyst at the University of North Georgia, and IT Analyst at Chestatee Regional Hospital. Cornel holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Computer Information Systems from the University of North Georgia.
