Elisa Ferracane

Elisa Ferracane is a NLP Research Scientist at Abridge. Elisa was previously a Deep Learning Research Intern at Salesforce from May 2018 to August 2018, where they analyzed the latent structure of a document learned by a neural network model on different tasks and datasets, in addition to studying the effect of adding a small amount of supervision for learning the attention. Elisa was also a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from October 2013 to September 2020. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at IBM from March 2002 to August 2015.

Elisa Ferracane studied computer engineering at Universidad de Puerto Rico for their bachelor's degree. Elisa then pursued a Ph.D. in computational linguistics at The University of Texas at Austin.
