Dawn Hood

Dawn Hood is an experienced Implementation Consultant at Abrigo since March 2020. Previously, Dawn served as a Strategic Leader in Workflow at GE Capital from 2006, acting as the risk application owner for an underwriting application utilized by multiple Risk groups and managing the critical liaison between Risk and IT. Dawn's tenure at GE Consumer Finance (GE Money) from November 2000 to August 2006 included the role of Senior Risk Manager, overseeing a team of 13 project managers and successfully enhancing credit line and fraud strategies, which led to a significant increase in sales by $4 million and a reduction of fraud losses by $80 million through advanced technology implementations. Earlier experience includes a position as Manager of Business Systems and Development at Portfolio Information from 1998 to 1999. Dawn holds a BSBA in International Marketing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, having studied also at the University of Maryland.
