Filipe Santos

Filipe Santos possesses over two decades of experience in the marine and engineering sectors, with a strong background in operations and surveying. Currently serving as the Area Operations Manager at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since June 2001, Filipe has progressed through various roles, including Senior Principal Surveyor and Principal Surveyor. Prior experience includes a position as Quality Control Manager at Estaleiros Navais de Viana do Castelo from June 1998 to June 2001. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2011-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade do Minho (1992-1997).
