Ivson Soares

Ivson Soares has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering and consulting field. Ivson started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Trainee and worked as a Fitter to Offshore Management Assistant at DSND Consub S.A. (now Subsea 7) from 1998 to 2000. Ivson then joined Consunav Rio Consultoria e Engenharia in 2001 as a Project Coordinator, where they worked until 2010. Since 2010, Ivson has been working at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), initially as a Senior Engineer II and currently as a Managing Principal Engineer. In their role at ABS, they are responsible for reviewing and supervising various engineering systems and plans related to marine vessels. Ivson also interacts with clients and contributes to the training of engineers.
