Managing Principal Engineer at American Bureau of Shipping

Jude Tomdio has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Jude began their career as an Electrical Engineer Intern at American Bureau of Shipping in 2008. Jude then advanced to become a Senior Electrical Engineer II, working there until 2015. Jude also gained experience at GE Oil & Gas as a Lead Control Systems Engineer from 2016 to 2018, and at Baker Hughes, a GE company as a Lead Instrumentation, Electrical, & Control Systems Engineer from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they moved on to work as a Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Keystone Engineering Inc and also founded Providence Health Consultants, LLC. Jude later joined PDHengineer.com as a Subject Matter Expert. Currently, Jude is working at American Bureau of Shipping as a Principal Electrical Engineer and will soon take on the role of a Managing Principal Engineer in 2023.

Jude Tomdio holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Villanova University, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Power Engineering Technology from the University of Houston from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their academic degrees, Jude Tomdio has obtained various certifications in areas such as coaching and developing employees, medical revenue management, office safety, software training, drilling systems, dynamic positioning, safety integrity level, risk analysis, and hazardous area awareness and inspection. The years in which they obtained these certifications range from 2009 to 2021.
